RWAH represents a journey of a rebel unwilling to be limited by conventions or expectations. With roots in Singapore, and a love for the rich diversity and heritage of the lands around us, we are always experimenting with chic ways to revitalise familiar regional ingredients and flavours.
RWAH is not about replacing the old. We think of our creations as dialogues between tradition and modernity; fresh interpretations of what has been left to us by the people who came before us. Thus, paradoxically, inspiring the appreciation of the history and heritage of our asian and southeast asian roots.
If we are to preserve culture, we must continue to create it.

The people
The journey of RWAH began in 2018, when co-founder, YY, started working FOR co-founder, Khai, as a brand designer at a micro food group he was part of. We liked working together enough that in 2022 we jumped into starting RWAH together. Both rebels at heart- perhaps with YY weighing heavier on being the rebel and Khai with more heart - we make great partners bringing our "same same but different" skillset and personalities to the table.
That said, there is of course a whole ecosystem of people that we work with to bring you every product. And some day we hope to find the time to introduce them to you.

Our products are only partially halal-certified, but we're working hard to get them fully certified by the end of 2025.
